Sue Shevlin, MSW, NHA
Sue Shevlin as served as the executive director of Churchman Village since summer 2017. She attended Temple University and the University of Scranton. As a licensed nursing home administrator, Sue has a passion for working with the elderly. "I really enjoy learning about their life stories and helping them to continue with the best quality of life possible," she said.
Sue served in a variety of roles in long-term care over the last 18 years including as a nursing home director of social work, nursing home director of admissions, and director of an independent living community.
Sue has been appointed to the Delaware Nursing Home Residents Quality Assurance Commission. She is a member of the Delaware Health Care Facilities Association. In her free time, she enjoys walking on the beach, reading, and spending time with family.
Ritu Rastogi, MD
Dr. Ritu Rastogi has served as the Churchman Village medical director since 2013. After attending medical school at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Dr. Rastogi completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical Center in New York. With more than a decade of long-term care experience, Dr. Rastogi is well known in the medical community and has been nominated twice as the Best Medical Director in Delaware. She is a member of the The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (AMDA).
